About Wonder Tire

Wonder Auto & Tire began as Wonder Muffler with the first store established on Regent St. in Fredericton in 1977. At that time the business was almost entirely mufflers and exhaust systems. The business offered quick and value priced service by the use of a pipe bender so that there was never a need to order the part- it was made on site. That service continues to this day with custom exhaust systems one of our specialties. By 1980 the business had expanded by offering repair service in shocks and struts and brakes.

In 1984 the location in Saint John was added and we continued to expand the product offering, with the addition of an alignment machine to offer both 2 wheel and 4 wheel alignments and also a complete suspension and steering offering including such items as ball joints, ties rods and steering racks.

The business continued to grow with the addition of the Riverview and Fredericton Main St. locations in 1994 and Oromocto and New Glasgow in 1999. The product offering continued to grow as well with the addition of oil and lube services and complete underhood services such as tune-ups and engine repair. It was also during this period that Tires and preventative maintenance services such as transmission flushes, coolant flushes, power steering flushes and fuel injection cleaning were added as the requirements of manufacturers for proper maintenance changed.

In 2003 the final two locations in Moncton and Halifax were added and the focus of the business changed to specializing in tires, brakes and preventative maintenance. Wonder Auto & Tire has grown over the years by offering quality products at a competitive price. We are the one-stop auto repair shop for all your vehicle needs.
